Renewal
2023 to present.
"Renewal" begins a time in my life where I rededicate myself to my drawing. I break free of (at least some of) the "shoulds" that cheapen my drawings and rob me of my joy in drawing.
Later
2023 to present.
"Later" is not a series, but rather a collection of drawings I did in that time. My business as a professional artist didn't survive the recession, so this was a time for stepping back and rethinking my life goals.
Anarchies
2007.
The title of many of my series are based on how the lines relate to each other. In "Anarchies," there are groups of lines and shapes that relate to each other as a group. These groups in turn relate to other groups. It's an anarchy - no leader - though they all work together.
Between the lines
2007.
"Between the Lines" is, if memory serves, my penultimate series. I'm using large shapes and soft (if not pastel) colors.
